Gyromotics winner of the Province of Gelderland challenge in the category sports for people with disabilities

Gyromotics has won the 2018 Gelderland challenge in the category sports for people with disabilities.

The Province of Gelderland hosts the national sports facilities of Papendal, the official training location of the Dutch olympic teams. As part of its efforts to promote more sports participation, the Province invited individuals and companies to present their ideas to achieve this. Gyromotics proposed the province to help people who have to miss a leg to participate in sports using Gyromotics’ proprietary prosthetic leg.

The advantage of this project is that people not only get to use a better prosthetic foot, but will also receive support to participate in their favourite sport.

The prize was symbolically presented to Gyromotics by Provincial Executive Jan Markink during the Startup Delta Summit in Arnhem. Gyromotics expects to start the project during Spring 2019.
